Drake made a controversial statement in his last interview with Rolling Stone magazine about Jay Z always using art references in his raps, which he described as corny!
Jay Z Corny? Ah! Notice what he said below:
“It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references. I would love to collect art at some point, but I think the whole Rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.” Drake was quoted as saying.
Well, over the weekend Jay Z fired back. On Saturday night rap enigma, a rapper called Jay Electronica dropped a ‘We Made It’ freestyle featuring Jay Z where the rapper addressed Drake.
“Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk/Silly me, rappin’ ’bout s**t that I really bought/ While these rappers rap about guns that they ain’t shot/ And a bunch of other silly s**t that they ain’t got.”! Jay Z raps on the track.
Damn! What do you think? Hmm. Should Drake reply Jay Z with a diss track?
