Sepp Blatter the President of world football governing body FIFA, has warned that Nigeria is at risk of getting an international ban due to government's direct interference after a court sacked the football federation's executive committee.
The Nigerian sports minister Tammy Danagogo, yesterday Thursday July 3rd, appointed Mr. Lawrence Katiken as sole adminstrator of the NFF. Danagogo acted after a high
court sitting in Plateau State granted an injunction stopping elected NFF president Aminu Maigari, his executive committee and the NFF congress from office, which implys a direct interference by government in football, which is against FIFA's regulations.
