Meet Mercury, the kitten with no front legs.
The young animal was left disabled at four days old after a collision with a weed whacker, but has not let that stop him having fun.
The jovial feline has been snapped in a series of images that have been posted on his dedicated Facebook page, Raising Mercury.

The kitten, who only has one toe on his back legs following the accident, was saved by a veterinarian that decided to not put him down.
Since then he has gone from strength to strength, with his owners helping him develop his movement.

They said: ‘Mercury does everything other cats do – he plays with toys, he jumps, plays with other cats and dogs, sleeps on the bed, uses a litter box, and believes he is the king of the world and should be worshipped.’
Once he is fully grown it might be suitable for him to use a wheelchair-type device, but at the moment he’s happy getting about on two legs.
