OPEN LETTER: Nigerian Army Threaten Nigerian Celebrities: "Guilty Will Be Dealt With Severely"
Army warns Nigerian celebrities against abusing military by wearing camouflage while performing, as"camouflage is not meant for the entertainment industry."
"This is to inform the general public and most especially Nigerian celebrities to abstain from the use and abuse of the Nigerian Military camouflage.
Several investigations were carried out and we noticed the camouflage is mostly been used by Nigerian celebrities in music videos, photo-shoots and concerts.
In these same videos and photo sessions, Nigerian celebrities like “Jesse Jags” smoke marijuana while putting on the Nigerian Military camouflage. This is a shameful act and it will NOT be tolerated henceforth.After the Nigerian Army posted the open letter to Nigerian celebrities where they warned them not to wear camouflage while performing as it abuses military, emphasizing that "camouflage is not meant for the entertainment industry."......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

They said that any civilian found guilty of putting on the camouflage irrespective of their social status will be dealt with severely.

Other Celebrities have also been noticed putting on the camouflage at will. They include Iyanya, Wizkid, Davido, Tekno Miles, Chidinma etc.
The military camouflage is not meant for the entertainment industry, It is strictly meant for military personnels.
Henceforth, any civilian found GUILTY of putting on the camouflage irrespective of their social status will be dealt with severely.
