According to BBC, an explosion has rocked Yobe State..It occurred at a football viewing center shortly after the kick-off of the Brazil vs. Mexico match in the ongoing World Cup.Injured people have been taken to the Sani Abacha Specialist Hospital in Damaturu.
Sanusi Ruf'ai, police commissioner for Yobe state, told AFP "Our men have deployed to the scene but it's too early for us to give details."
Some states like Plateau and Adamawa ordered all venues planning to show live coverage of the World Cup to close because of possible bomb attacks.
