Train Crushes Middle-Aged Man To Death In ilorin (Graphic Photo)


  A middle-aged man has been crushed to death by a moving train in the early hours of Sunday [May 18] in the Ilorin metropolis.
           According to Nigerian Tribune, the incident was a case of suicide as people spoken with on the development, said the man, whose identity was yet to be ascertained, was not a mad a madman.
            It was also gathered that the Lagos-Kano bound train, which had a stopover in Ilorin, severed the head, arm and body of the deceased on the rail track.



The incident which occurred at Isaac Mowo Street, opposite Ilorin office of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, threw people into panic.

Nigerian Tribune during a visit to the scene, on Monday afternoon, found the headless body of the deceased still lying on the rail track, his left hand and leg cut off while flies feasted on the decomposing corpse that polluted the air.

The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately but a source at  the railway station, said that the Superintendent Station Officer of the Nigeria Railway Corporation, Ilorin, had been briefed about the incident, and he assured that the dead would be evacuated.
