Officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army will soon be kitted with new sets of uniforms to differentiate them from impostors , according to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Kenneth Minimah who made this known to the public at the end of his tour on army formations in the Lagos.
The Army General said the new uniforms which are currently being sewn at the Nigerian Army Tailoring Department in Yaba, will make officers and soldiers appear smarter. Read his own words below :
"The Nigerian Army has decided to change the camouflage uniform of the service. We have also decided to make it ourselves so that it will have a uniform look. We will not allow anybody to make them for us.. They are currently being made at the Nigerian Army Tailoring Department at Yaba, Lagos State. It will make us look smarter and better,"he said.
He also cautioned soldiers on the type of info they reveal to the public through social media . According to him , it might destroy the Force
