Kanye West Bans Kim K From Starring In Reality TV Show

Report has it that Kanye West is already trying to take control of Kim Kardashian‘s career and her manager, Kris Jenner, is not impressed.
According to Radaronline.com source, Kanye had been holding on all these while, pretending to like what Kim does for a living. But now that he's now her husband, he's shown an outright hatred for her job.
Again, we heard that Kris Jenner is furious that Kanye has started to get involved in the family's business and wants to stop the one person who brought the Kardashian's much fame and fortune- Kim.

Former Vice Principal of American International School, Lagos, AISL, Mrs Ebere Mbanugo, was on Tuesday, May 27 arraigned at the Lagos State High Court, Igbosere, Court 34 before the Hon Justice Oluwatotin Taiwo with case No LD/549C/2014 for stealing and misappropriation of funds.
The money belongs to the Child Survival and Development organization’s Run For a Cure Program, an initiative hosted by her former employers AISL, where she acted as the race coordinator.
Mrs. Mbanugo who has been on police bail pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge and was subsequently granted bail. The case is being handled by Lagos State.

Thank God! I just hope this is true. The Sudanese woman facing down a death sentence for marrying a Christian will be freed, it has been reported.

Meriam Ibrahim, who gave birth in prison this week, was sentenced to death for abandoning Islam.
The news comes after huge international pressure was piled on the Sudanese authorities, with David Cameron, Hillary Clinton and the Archbishop of Canterbury all calling for the sentence to be dropped. However, Mrs Ibrahim's lawyers said they do not believe the offer is genuine, and is a ploy to silence the growing outcry.

Striking Lagos State University lecturers might be fired, said the state governor's special adviser on education Otunba Fatai Olukoga.

The official also claimed that if the protest continued, they might be forced to close the Lagos State University.

Iranian court has sentenced a 47 years old British woman Roya Saberi Negad Nobakht to 20 years in prison after criticizing the country’s former leader on Facebook.
Mrs. Roya Saberi Negad Nobakht, a housewife from Stockport, Greater Manchester, posted the comments on the social media site while visiting friends in Iran.
The woman, who holds dual British and Iranian citizenship, was arrested in Shiraz in the south-west of the country for allegedly criticizing Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

A mental unstable labourer identified as Francis Mokwe who recently caused commotion at a banking hall in Lagos was arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrates court yesterday.

The 27-year-old alleged mad man is currently facing disorderly conduct for causing panic at a branch of Stanbic IBTC Bank in Lagos.

The prosecutor, Cpl. Olanrewaju Balogun, told the court that Mokwe committed the offence at about 9:00 a.m. at the Agungi-Lekki branch of the bank.

Balogun said the accused caused panic and confusion among customers and bankers in the banking hall by publicly professing to be a member of Boko Haram insurgents.

The lady pictured above is Omotayo Adeoye, who is still currently missing. Omotayo a Nigerian who is a High School student in New York majoring in Mathematics and Science had yesterday, Thursday May 29th jumped off the George Washington Bridge in New York.
The attempted suicide, say police, occurred Thursday Afternoon at about 3:30 pm New York time. According to eyewitnesses she was seen jumping from the
bridge, and hitting the Hudson River shortly thereafter. She was still alive from the long jump into the murky waters below, as she surfaced shortly afterwards. She survived the fall and was seen swimming towards the New York bank of the Hudson. However, there is a belief that she has been swept away by the strong currents of the river. As at noon today Adeoye is still missing. Her corpse have not been found neither are there signs she survived.

The #BringBackOurGirls campaign which is aimed at pressurizing the Nigerien government to ensure the release of the kidnapped Chibok girls, has been hijacked by scammers. Some crooks are now exploiting the campaign to steal money from people especially the ones that care so much about the needs and happiness of other people.

The crooks are currently sending out a scam email claiming that one pregnant "Mary Sambo" is going through a tough time and needs help. The email claims Mary recently lost her husband to the terrorist attack in Nigeria and her daughters are among the girls kidnapped by Boko Haram.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo who revealed ways on how the abducted Chibok can be rescued on May 28 after a close door meeting with some Islamic clerics and negotiators with Boko Haram on Thursday warned the Nigerian military not to “play Public Relations propaganda” with the abduction of the school girls.

Obasanjo who made this warning in a Channels Television news reacted to the claims made by the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh, that the Nigerian military have the located where the girls are being held captive by the sects.

He said: “This is not an issue that you will play public relations propaganda with.

The Lagos State Government has cancelled restriction of human/vehicular activities for the May statewide monthly sanitation exercise in order to allow students in the state participate in the Nationwide JAMB Examination.

According to Tunji Bello, Commissioner for the Environment, this cancellation is to allow easy movement of invigilators, parents/ guardians/students and examinations materials towards a hitch free exam.

He further observed that “Not allowing our children to participate in the Nationwide Examination amounts to mortgaging the future of the leaders of tomorrow”

The Commissioner however advised that despite the cancellation, Lagosians should still use this period for the usual cleaning of their homes, drainages in their frontages and their general environment.

There were reports earlier today that two prominent Borno State Emirs, the Emir of Gwoza, Alhaji Idrissa Timta (pictured left) and Emir of Uba Alhaji Ali Ibn Ismaila Mamza (pictured right) were kidnapped by Boko Haram men while on their way to Gombe to attend the burial of Emir of Gombe, Shehu Abubakar. According to Daily Trust, one of the Emirs, Alhaji Idrissa Timta has died.
