I don't think this is the best time to start blaming a grieving family over the death of their daughter. Zara's family is never to be blamed on any circumstance because no woman will love to give away suffering of  9 months.

 The residents of Ikot Oku Mfang in Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom were shocked when they found out what happened to their 46-year-old neighbour.

The man, identified as Mfon Daniel Nduke, was roasted alive by a mysterious fire in his own apartment. Property worth millions of naira was also destroyed in the incident.

According to witnesses, the fire started at about 9 pm and burnt the victim completely.

  A 16-year-old girl was so outraged after a Facebook dispute with her best friend that she murdered the young girl by stabbing her in the back 65 times.

MetroNewsUK reports that Erandy Elizabeth Gutierrez was furious after she received messages that alerted her to the fact that her friend had uploaded naked pictures of the pair to the social network. She told her friend, Anel Baez, also 16, that she would be lucky to survive until the end of the year.

Barely a week after, a number of ‘fake mad men’ have been apprehended with suspicious items and on Thursday, a Muslim cleric is said to have been caught trying to slaughter a young girl.

37-year-old Isah Salaudeen has been arrested after reports that he tried to slit the throat of one Chiwendu Nkwocha.

Nkwocha was said to have been taken to Isah by her boyfriend so the cleric could solve some spiritual problems she was facing.

Isah is said to have begun to cut the girl’s throat with a knife and cut her with a cutlass in a bid to kill her.

 President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor in an interview with Punch yesterday bared his mind on the notion that Nigerian pastors milk their poor church members. Excerpts:

• People claim churches milk the poor and live big on them. What’s your take on this?

It is cheap to criticise; even to criticise what you don’t understand. People don’t understand what they say about the church milking the poor. Can a poor man have money to pay tithe? A man who has no job, can he pay tithe? No, he won’t be able to pay. So how do you milk a man who has no milk? 

In a church, you have both the poor and the rich. It is generally not the poor that finance the church. It is those with the means. A man, for example, who earns N10,000, how much is histithe? His tithe is N1,000. A man who earns N500,000, how much is his tithe? His tithe is 10 per cent which is N50,000. How much would you milk from a man who pays a tithe of N1000?

Three Secondary School Students in Osogbo Remanded in Prison Custody Kidnapping Their Fellow Student.

 

          An Osogbo Magistrate court has ordered three secondary school students in Osogbo, the Osun state capital to be remanded in prison custody for allegedly kidnapping their fellow student.
         Two of the suspects were said to be students of Osogbo High School, while the third one was a student of Government technical College, Osogbo.
        The accused persons; Saheed Ayelabola (21), Azeez Ogunbayo (21), and Ayoola Habib (15) are facing a four-count charge of stealing, kidnapping, assault and conspiracy.
         The police prosecutor, Mr Fagboyinbo Abiodun, an inspector, told the court that the accused persons committed the offence on 14th March, 2014 at about1.30pm at the premises of Osogbo High School, Osogbo.
        Abiodun also told the court that the accused persons allegedly kidnapped one Ridwan Lawal, a class three student of Osogbo High school and took him to
